This blog is mostly about images. A photo captures a moment in time and lets us slow down long enough to see the rich texture of the life all around us. It's mostly for my own amusement, but if you stumbled here somehow, please enjoy.

Where is the House That You Build?

"Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word." Isaiah 66:1-2

Sitting on the square in Magdalena de Kino, Mexico last Tuesday night, one could see the twilight fading and the light of a distant planet shining as a backdrop for this church.  It made me think of this scripture. Our buildings can't contain Him, the Creator of all. He looks to the humble.
