This blog is mostly about images. A photo captures a moment in time and lets us slow down long enough to see the rich texture of the life all around us. It's mostly for my own amusement, but if you stumbled here somehow, please enjoy.

Blindness = Sight Without Vision

This young man's personality is as high-wattage as his smile!  Love you, Nelson.

This canoe was made by hand by a craftsman who recently lost his sight.  I'm glad he had the ability to envision and then make reality this beautiful work before his sight was taken.

  1. A hint of mischief in the smile as well. Not sure I would want to be in the boat with Nelson!
