Backyards
There's so much texture in a city. It's a grave mistake to look and see only "huddled masses yearning to breathe free" and extend unknowing pity at their lot. We humans can carve from the tiniest block a sense of place and belonging. I love the way these "back yards' convey a sense of individual style and preference.
Looks like the potluck at Metzger's was quite a photo opportunity & some good camera time!Luann
